Faith Grows When We Listen
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
— Romans 10:17 (NIV)
Paul teaches us that faith isn't something we're born with—it develops as we hear God's Word. When we listen to Scripture, read it, study it, and let it sink into our hearts, our trust in God naturally grows stronger. Faith comes through exposure to God's truth.
Think about how you learn to trust anyone—through spending time with them and hearing their words. The same is true with God. When you regularly read the Bible, listen to sermons, or study Scripture with others, you're building a relationship with God that deepens your faith. Every time you open God's Word, you're feeding the faith that sustains you.
