Living Through Him
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God.”
— Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Paul describes a profound spiritual transformation: when we surrender our lives to Christ through faith, we die to our old self-centered way of living. Yet this isn't the end—it's a new beginning where Christ's life flows through us. We continue living in our bodies, but now motivated by trust in Jesus rather than our own desires.
Today, you face choices between what you want and what honors Christ. This verse invites you to release control and let His character guide your decisions—at work, in relationships, in how you spend your time. When you feel overwhelmed or uncertain, remember that you're not carrying this alone; Christ's strength is working through your faith in Him.
Die Daily, Live Fully
- 1Identify one area where you're holding tight to control—a relationship, a goal, or a fear—and consciously release it to Christ in prayer.
- 2Throughout today, notice one moment where Christ's love would respond differently than your natural instinct, and choose His way.
- 3End your day by thanking God that His life in you is stronger than your limitations.
Lord, help me surrender myself fully so that Your life and love can flow through me today.
What part of your life are you still trying to control instead of trusting to Christ?
